Social Worker Month – I celebrate the woman who encouraged me to enjoy reading, embrace my joy of writing, attend college, and so much more. She encouraged me to heal from the things that placed me in foster care and be the best me, I could be. I remain a work in progress, but I am grateful for the love and encouragement she continues to provide.
