Everyone is not happy on Mother’s Day, but I would like to encourage us to change that. Mothers work tirelessly to bring joy to their children, and we cannot let that be in vain by showing sadness. So today we will remember our mothers in joy and laughter. We will reflect on jokes, tell stories, and share our mother’s love and care with our families.
Remember that Mother’s Day is a celebration of mothers, and not a time to revisit bereavement. As we live, we too will surely die, but while alive we will share memories of our mothers and make memories with our families. Because that is what our mothers would desire for us to do today.
